Pawn Promotions add a great twist to the game of chess. Once you have a pawn
that reaches the opposite side of the board (like the one in the diagram to the left)
you may choose to get any piece back.
If your pawn reaches the opposite side of the board you may exchange your pawn
for a queen, rook, bishop or, knight. You may not choose another king or pawn. You
may have multiples of each piece.
Example: Lets say you already have a queen, and your pawn reaches the other side
of the board. Can you queens. Only possible if you get all eight pawns to the opposite
side of the board and still have you starting queen.
Example: Lets say you have a bishop on a white square and your pawn reaches the
other side of the board. Can you have two bishops on white squares? YES! You can
have as many bishops as pawns. The squares they land on have a color, your bishop
becomes that color.
