We offer 3 sections for tournament players:
- Section 1 - Grades k-1
- Section 2 - Grades 2-3
- Section 3 - Grades 4-6

Chess Tournament Fee
U.S. Chess Mates holds chess tournaments once a month for our
students and the community. Once the school year has started we will
have a full list of tournaments and location maps to our tournaments.
We have a range of tournaments, we have quad chess swiss style, blitz
chess, and bug house tournaments. Tournaments are only open to
children in grades k-6, unless otherwise posted. Tournament players
will play with clocks to ensure the games end in a timely manner. All
participants in the tournament will receive a prize for participation or
place prize. Parents may leave their child as long as they leave a cell
phone number they can be reached at in case of an emergency.

$35.00 for non U.S. Chess Mates participants
$30.00 for children registered in the U.S. Chess Mates program
Tournaments are about 5-6 hours on a Saturday located on a school
campus, with bathrooms and a snack shack. Sometimes we provide
pizza or a BBQ. All tournaments will end with an award ceremony,
chess raffle and pictures.
