Professional Chess Instruction for Children of all Ages.
We are directly connected in our community and we try to help as much as we can. We volunteer at homeless shelters, do service work, and last year U.S. Chess Mates brought free chess instruction to over 400 students that would have never had the opportunity if it wasn't for the great following we have created. In 2009 we collected and donated over 15,000 pounds of clothes and distributed them throughout Sacramento, Ca. We also help light and decorate a 170 foot Christmas Tree that was lit and attended by the Mayor of Sacramento Kevin Johnson. Please CLICK HERE to view the video from that event.
We would like to thank all who have helped us in the past as well as those who are still helping. We volunteer for community events regularly, so if you need help please let us know.
If you ever have a community service project or would like chess for any reason like: a booth, a speech, or presentation - please let us know. We enjoy helping other companies and our community. Below are a few organizations that work close with U.S. Chess Mates to create a better community and help our youth.
